Rules and Guidelines

Presenters for The 2009 Seed 2020 M/WBE Meet-up will be selected based on the information provided in the Propose a Talk form on this site.

All applications must be submitted on this site by 5:00 pm (EST) on Monday October 26, 2009.

• Eligibility: Nominee ideally will be a woman or minority business owner; at least 18 years of age; and a legal resident of the U.S.   

• Information submitted as part of the application process will be posted on the Website and may be used for promotional and informational purposes.

• Our team will screen all applications and select up to 10 candidates and 3 alternates to present at The 2009 Seed 2020 M/WBE Meet-up on Wednesday November 4, 2009 at 6:00pm (EST) at the Muhammad Ali Center on N. 6th Street.  In your application please assume that our team has no background in the subject matter of your idea/concept.

• Confidential information, proprietary content, and protected intellectual property that is not your own will not be accepted. DO NOT attempt to present ideas that are the confidential or proprietary property of another person or entity. By submitting an application you are acknowledging that the information is not infringing on the protected rights of any person or entity.

• Presentations must be about an active start up or an ongoing business.

• You agree to use our template for your talk and provide the information requested by the template.
